I don't really eat meat, although I'm not a vegetarian. I don't like turkey though. I prefer chicken if I have to have some sort of meat.

I do like it, I would just prefer other meats. If I go to someone's house for a roast and they do turkey, I ask for less meat and more veg. I do often use turkey mince to make meatballs, it's a much nicer texture than roasted.

I couldnt agree more REDCAT I love turkey mince but i find roast stringy (maybe i cant cook) I think alot of people feel like they have to have turkey on Christmas Day.

Yeah I much prefer roast pork. This year i'm making turkey mince meatloaf.

We usually have beef or pork because my mum gets loads of it free from her work (she works on a farm). If it wasn't free, we'd probably have chicken though because it's cheaper.
Turkey does work well as mince meat for meat balls though. I tend to find it too stringy roasted as well.

Just found out that my Mother in Law is making Goose for Christmas Dinner this year! And my Sister in law is bringing a Roast Chicken incase the Goose doesn't feed all 10 of us.
