    Hi all. I was wondering what sites those of you who earn a little extra on use?

    I've recently joined OnePoll, and have the grand sum of £2.75-not sure I'll have earned the minimum £40 before christmas, but I'll get there at some point! I don't really do a lot of shopping online to make use of cashback sites, but was wondering what others do?

    I'm already planning an ebay weekend, which I'll post about nearer the time in the ebay thread, but would love any other ideas. I also have a 1p/2p/5p and 10p pot specifically for christmas, so any ideas/suggestions would be gratefully recieved-how do you all save up for the festive season?

    I personally just spend a little amount each month in the sales. I got three gifts from Bodyshop today for £7.60 which totals about £2.50 per gift.

    My Husband has a savings jar and throughout the year he accumulates about £25 which goes towards the Christmas Food Shopping. How does One Poll work then? Do you do surveys for money?

    Hiya. Yes, OnePoll pays you to do surveys, however I must say I much prefer it. I signed up to survey sites previously, and personally didn't like it. I got swamped with emails inviting me to complete surveys, and about 15-20 minutes in I'd be informed that I didn't meet the criteria.

    With Onepoll, I sign in each evening, and there's a list of surveys. It says in the title whether you're eligable or not, such as;

    The joys of marriage-answer this survey if you've been married 10 years or longer

    Ok, so the rewards tend to be 5p/10p/15p but they literally take a minute or 2 at the most, all of the questions are listed on one page rather than the numerous pages of others and you can see your earnings at the start page.

    Can you tell I was pleasantly suprised by this site? lol

    If you don't like survey sites, you should check out dooyoo.co.uk as it lets you earn money by writing reviews on things you use every day. Each review gets you 50p, plus you get 1.5p every time someone reads the review as well.

    ooooh may have to look at that onepoll ive joined about a million survey sites and am nowhere near the amount you need to claim, ive often wondered if im doing something wrong.

    Ive sat and added up the amount I think I need + a little contingency (sp) and divided by how many times we get paid before Xmas and thats how much I spend, thankfully Im well under budget at the minute due to finding a lot of bargains in the sales............

    I apologise if you dont understand that last paragraph Ive just re read it and am not sure I do

    Yeah, that last paragraph did make sense Smile Finding things in the sales does help to keep the budget down a little which is always good Smile

    Good luck with dooyoo! I've got about £35 at the minute and I've not really been on it much so hopefully you'll be able to do the same Smile

    Wow sounds great! How long did it take you to work up £35?

    That depends on what you mean by how long... because it took me about 4 weeks but I only went on once a day at the most for about an hour. So about 28 hours-ish. But if you're not very good at writing reviews or write a lot, it can take a lot longer than that. You only have to write 150 words though so it's not too hard.

    That sounds good. Though I do tend to waffle on and write far too much haha. I'll give it a look though.
