I think of and plan for Christmas from about June but we decorate in October so around then.

Cat - I wish I could put the decorations up in October. If I did that though, my mum would probably disown me... My dad already disowned me and I'd like to keep one parent. Lol.

My husband thinks it's insane but I usually butter him up by having an early Christmas Dinner ready on the day he comes home to find the place trimmed up.

Yeah it does change things, it certainly helps anyway! His face usually drops when he sees the decorations but then brightens up again when I shove a plate of turkey at him!
