    Chestnuts? Empty Chestnuts?

    Who here likes chestnuts? I was talking to a few of my friends about chestnuts the other day (yes, a rather odd converssation!) and quite a few of them didnt seem to even know what I was talking about. So I wondered if anyone here likes them?

    I haven't tried them - are they nice? There's always a stall in the city centre near me that sells warm chestnuts throughout December but I've never bought any. Maybe I will this year!

    I think they taste better roasted but they're okay normally before they're roasted too Smile
    I normally get them from the woods near Felthorpe lol they're free then lol!

    I see, i'll have to take a venture up there then.

    Found a recipe using chestnut puree so will definitely give that a go.
