If my step brother is here, we open ours on Christmas day, usually whenever he wakes up as he's only 9. If he's not, we'll wait until boxing day when he comes round. I should think mum and my step dad wont be together then thoguh so we'll probably open them christmas day.

I open them Christmas morning with the fairy lights on and candles lit and christmas music in the backgroud. I usually make a cup of cocoa first.

I like cocoa but it doesnt like me. Unless it's soya milk in it anyway. Weird but yeah. There's nothing like having a hot drink, candles lit and music on while opening the gifts though, is there?

My hubby and I open our xmas pressies on christmas day morning, we get up put the tree lights on, xmas cd, kettle on and of course HE has to have a binliner ready for rubbish BORING LOL. We then usually go to my grandads where my parents are and open our pressies from them, its quite nice as we have time together and time with the family

Time together with the family sounds nice. Binliner preparation just sounds boring! XD You should tell him to get it ready the day before xD

My Husband does the binliner thing too. It's weird, I moan at him all year for leaving crap on the floor, and the one day he's bothered is the day I couldn't care less!

My Dad was like that too. He still hoovers up all the scrap bits of paper that didn't make the binliner, and on Christmas day too!
